aeonbranding exists because too much of marketing became all performance – loud, jargon-heavy, and built to look good rather than do actual work.
We started with a simple belief: that there is no right way to do marketing. Every business is different. Every brand has its own story, its own audience, its own way of showing up in the world. The job isn’t to apply a formula – it’s to find the approach that actually fits.
So that’s what we do. We strip away the noise, ask the right questions, and build something that makes sense for you. Not for the last client. Not for a template. Not for the algorithm. For you.
What went on in the making
aeonbranding didn’t appear from nowhere. It was built on almost ten years of real marketing work: managing campaigns, building strategies, running websites, writing content, and sitting across the table from business owners who were overwhelmed, frustrated, or just tired of marketing that wasn’t working.
That experience taught us something important: most businesses don’t have a marketing problem. They have a clarity problem. The strategy is vague. The brand no longer fits. The messaging says one thing while everything else says another. And somewhere along the way, someone sold them the idea that posting more, doing more, and being everywhere would fix it. It doesn’t.
aeonbranding was rebuilt in 2024 to do something different. To bring together strategic thinking, creative craft, and a completely honest approach to marketing – and to build it around the businesses we work with, not around a formula.
The name says it all. An aeon is an infinite stretch of time. We chose it deliberately, because we believe in building things that last. Not campaigns that expire. Not brands that go stale. Work that actually means something and keeps working long after we’ve finished.

We work within a framework (discovery, strategy, creative, execution) but we adapt it around you, not the other way around. Some clients want deep collaborative sessions. Others prefer to hand things over and check in at milestones. Most sit somewhere in between. We meet you where you are.

Whatever the project, the approach is the same: ask better questions, challenge assumptions honestly, and make sure everything is rooted in clarity before anything gets made. Marketing built on vague foundations is just noise. We've got enough of that already.

Maria
The marketing brain
Maria has spent over a decade working in marketing – enough time to know what actually works, spot what doesn’t, and refuse to do the latter. ACIM qualified and fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, she’s worked across sectors from tech to hospitality to e-commerce, always with the same approach: ask better questions, challenge what’s vague, and build things that hold up.
She’s also been editing an independent music magazine since 2012. Which tells you something about how she thinks.

Joy
The creative eye
Joy comes from Rio de Janeiro, with a background in costume design, fashion and performing arts. Which means her eye for composition, colour and detail comes from a very different place than your average designer – and that shows in the work.
She handles illustration, design and visual content, and brings a level of craft and patience that makes everything look considered. Because it is. Funnily enough, she’s also been editing tan independent music magazine since 2018.
